Im Gegensatz zum Spritzguss, bei dem einzelne Teile zyklisch hergestellt werden, arbeitet die Extrusion unterbrechungsfrei und ist damit eine der effizientesten Methoden zur Herstellung von Rohren, Profilen, Dichtungen, St\u00e4ben, Kabelkan\u00e4len und unz\u00e4hligen anderen Kunststoffkomponenten.<\/p><p>Der Prozess beginnt mit Kunststoffgranulat, das \u00fcber einen Trichter automatisch dem Extruder zugef\u00fchrt wird. Je nach Anwendung kann dieses Granulat aus PVC, Polyethylen (PE), Polypropylen (PP), ABS, TPU oder vielen anderen thermoplastischen Materialien bestehen. Zusatzstoffe wie UV-Stabilisatoren, Farbpigmente, Flammschutzmittel oder Schlagz\u00e4hmodifikatoren k\u00f6nnen vor der Verarbeitung auch in das Material eingemischt werden, um spezifische mechanische oder umweltbedingte Eigenschaften zu erzielen.<\/p><p>Im Extruder f\u00f6rdert eine pr\u00e4zis konstruierte rotierende Schnecke das Material durch mehrere Funktionszonen. W\u00e4hrend sich die Granulatpellets vorw\u00e4rts bewegen, werden sie allm\u00e4hlich komprimiert, erhitzt und zu einem homogenen, geschmolzenen Polymer vermischt. Externe Heizelemente arbeiten mit der durch die rotierende Schnecke erzeugten Reibung zusammen, um ein gleichm\u00e4\u00dfiges Schmelzen und einen stabilen Materialfluss zu gew\u00e4hrleisten.<\/p><p>Sobald das Polymer die erforderliche Temperatur und Viskosit\u00e4t erreicht hat, wird es durch eine pr\u00e4zisionsgefertigte Extrusionsd\u00fcse gepresst. Die D\u00fcse bestimmt die endg\u00fcltige Querschnittsgeometrie des Produkts, sei es ein runder Schlauch, ein komplexes technisches Profil oder ein speziell angefertigtes Bauteil. Da das Material im aufgeweichten Zustand die D\u00fcse verl\u00e4sst, kann es seine exakten Abmessungen noch nicht beibehalten.<\/p><p>Um Ma\u00dfhaltigkeit zu erreichen, gelangt das Profil sofort in ein Kalibrierungssystem, das h\u00e4ufig Vakuumtechnologie einsetzt, um das Produkt zu stabilisieren und gleichzeitig seine Form zu erhalten. Diese Stufe ist besonders kritisch f\u00fcr Pr\u00e4zisionsprofile und -rohre, bei denen selbst geringe Ma\u00dfabweichungen die Montage, die Dichtleistung oder die Produktfunktionalit\u00e4t beeintr\u00e4chtigen k\u00f6nnen.<\/p><p>Nach der Kalibrierung durchl\u00e4uft die Extrusion einen kontrollierten K\u00fchlabschnitt. Abh\u00e4ngig von Material und Produktgeometrie kann die K\u00fchlung mittels Wasserb\u00e4dern, Spr\u00fchk\u00fchlung oder Luftk\u00fchlung erfolgen. Die kontrollierte K\u00fchlung verhindert Verformungen, minimiert innere Spannungen und stellt eine gleichbleibende Produktqualit\u00e4t \u00fcber den gesamten Produktionslauf sicher.<\/p><p>Moderne Extrusionsanlagen \u00fcberwachen kontinuierlich die Produktabmessungen mithilfe von integrierten Laser-Messsystemen und anderen Qualit\u00e4tskontrollger\u00e4ten. Durchmesser, Wandst\u00e4rke und Profilabmessungen werden in Echtzeit gemessen, sodass die Produktionslinie Prozessschwankungen automatisch ausgleichen kann, bevor sie zu Qualit\u00e4tsproblemen werden.<\/p><p>Schlie\u00dflich zieht eine Abzugseinheit das Profil mit konstanter Geschwindigkeit durch die gesamte Produktionslinie, w\u00e4hrend ein automatisiertes Schneid- oder Wickelsystem das fertige Produkt f\u00fcr die Verpackung, Weiterverarbeitung oder sofortige Auslieferung vorbereitet.
